Sustainability

The transformation towards a low-carbon and circular economy is one of today’s greatest societal and economic challenges. In this context, Eurochambres activities in this field aim to trigger opportunities for green growth and to safeguard Europe’s industrial competitiveness.

Key priorities include securing access to affordable energy and raw materials, streamlining and accelerating sustainable projects, and enhancing international collaboration to harmonise climate policies. Eurochambres also advocates for simple, practical, and proportionate regulatory frameworks, ensuring that the green transition is an opportunity for growth rather than a burden.

Eurochambres seeks to enhance the existing capacity within the Chamber network to deliver energy-related services to businesses. Feedback gathered by Chambers while providing these services also allows Eurochambres to inform policy makers on obstacles and incentives for businesses to improve their energy performance. Additionally, Eurochambres represents the European business community on key platforms such as the EU Sustainable Finance Platform, working to ensure access to sustainable finance for businesses, particularly SMEs. Eurochambres is a key stakeholder in shaping a competitive, resilient, and green European economy.
